Project
Universal Design for Learning​
This project gives a brief summary, addresses key points, compares and contrasts this theroy with another and provides a lesson based on the Universal Design for Learning​ (UDL) Framework. This project really open my eyes to the importance of my teaching style. I really like how the UDL framework allows for all learners to reached and calls for lessons to be planned based on the what, why and how of learning.

Theory: Constructivism because throughout the lesson students will be playing in active role in their own learning.

While designing this project I learned how to use and integrate several new technology based programs, Jing and Animoto. This is my first technology integrated lesson plan while in graduate school and I could not be more pleased with how it turned out.
ETEC 597
WEB 2.0
My Web 2.0 course was full of information and application concerning all things WEB 2.0! This class was one that I really connected with because I really enjoyed being able to fully apply EVERYTHING we did. Here you will see my project that integrates Web 2.0 tools into a lesson for elementary students, as well as, the tools I used to create the project. Even after this course I continued to use this program to work with students on the use of reliable sources and databases.
Also, please see the group project the allowed our whole team to collaborate on one document using Google Doc's.
ETEC 524 was my very first grad school course. I'm so glad that I took this class first because it really set the framework for what was to come. I created this portfolio site, my first blog, was introduced to Web 2.0 tools and really got a preview of what the ETEC courses would entail.

For this course I was required to create a blog for a few assignment reflections. Since I knew I was going to be using Wix for my e-portfolio, I figured I'd go ahead and try out the blog that's already integrated into the site.
The blog features several "Tech Plays" where I tested out different technology. The 3 entries I created are: Bloggin', E-Portfolio's and Fun With Creativity Tools. They were all very beneficial in learning about technology, but my favorite was learning about all the different tech tools that are available. ​
